Question 2

Are the cattle pasture-raised and free from antibiotics or growth hormones?

Accepted Answer

The cattle used for our collagen are raised on a pasture and fed a 100% grass diet. They are not administered growth hormones or antibiotics as part of routine husbandry, which is why we’re proud to tout our grass-fed and finished certification.

We focus on sourcing systems that prioritize animal welfare and clear feeding practices, and we verify finished ingredients through quality and safety testing.

But… I hate the taste of stevia

Accepted Answer

If your first order isn't for you, email hi@goodonyaorganic.com within 30 days of delivery and we'll refund the product price. There's nothing to send back.

Question 35

What does “Certified 100% grass-fed and finished” mean for your collagen?

Accepted Answer

“Certified 100% grass-fed and finished” means the cattle are raised on a grass-based diet from birth through harvest, without being transitioned to grain or feedlot rations at any stage. This definition describes the animal’s full feeding history, not just part of its life.

This certification covers both raw material sourcing and aspects of the production process, and is conducted by an independent certification body affiliated with the American Grassfed Association. Certification requires documented standards and verification, helping ensure that feeding practices are consistent from birth through harvest.

Certification of 100% grass-fed and finished collagen at this level is uncommon in the category.

What ingredients are in Organic Hydration™?

Accepted Answer

Organic Hydration™ is USDA Certified Organic. Our ingredients include organic lemon juice powder, organic coconut water powder, organic stevia leaf extract, magnesium (from sea water), ascorbic acid (Vitamin C), and pink Himalayan salt. We source organic whenever possible, and from the earth or the sea when not.

Please note our product contains COCONUT.

Question 39

What is Ascorbic Acid used for?

Accepted Answer

Vitamin C helps preserve our real lemon juice. If we used a different artificial or natural lemon flavoring, which could survive the zombie apocalypse, we wouldn’t need it.

Question 40

What is GoodOnya Organic Hydration™?

Accepted Answer

Organic Hydration™ electrolyte drink mix is a powdered blend of real fruit, electrolytes, and mineral-rich pink Himalayan salt that you mix with water for a refreshing source of daily hydration. Its light lemonade taste, good source of magnesium, and only 1g of sugar make it a must-have addition to your daily hydration routine.

Question 42

What is collagen?

Accepted Answer

Collagen is the most abundant protein in the human body. It plays a structural role in skin health, connective tissue, bones, and joints, and is composed of amino acids such as glycine, proline, and hydroxyproline.

As we age, the body’s natural collagen production changes over time. Because of this, many people choose to include collagen peptides in their daily routines as a convenient source of protein and amino acids.

Question 43

What makes GoodOnya Organic Hydration™ different?

Accepted Answer

Our mix uses organic ingredients wherever possible, and all ingredients are derived from nature.

A few things we prioritize:

Using pink Himalayan salt instead of sodium chloride (table salt) for a more mineral-dense source of sodium.
Using coconut water for potassium rather than just potassium chloride.
Limiting electrolyte quantity to focus on quality sources of electrolytes in real fruit.
Magnesium derived from sea water.
Organic lemons instead of lemon flavorings.

Question 44

What makes GoodOnya’s Collagen different from other brands?

Accepted Answer

One ingredient keeps things simple and effective. Our certified grass-fed collagen peptides are derived solely from free-range cattle and meet strict quality and well-being standards. That reflects higher sourcing, partner, and transparency standards from pasture to packet. The result is a neutral-tasting collagen that blends effortlessly into everyday routines.

Question 45

What type of collagen is this, and what part of the animal does it come from?

Accepted Answer

Our collagen provides naturally occurring Type I and Type III collagen. It is sourced from bovine hide.

Type I collagen is the most abundant form in the body and is commonly associated with skin, bones, and connective tissue. Type III collagen is often found alongside Type I and plays a role in the body’s structural framework.

These types are widely used in collagen peptide supplements because they reflect the most prevalent forms of collagen found naturally in the body.

Question 46

What's your source of Vitamin C?

Accepted Answer

Our naturally-fermented Vitamin C is derived from Non-GMO corn and distilled down to the compounds we need. It leaves zero corn left in the finished product. The extraction is through a fermentation process rather than chemical solvents.

Sadly, much of the ascorbic acid on the market is from corn. Ascorbic acid and citric acid in products that are NOT Certified Organic can be from GMO corn. That is one reason it’s so important to buy certified organic products, as there are no GMOs allowed.

Question 47

When will I be charged for my subscription?

Accepted Answer

You’ll be charged automatically based on the delivery frequency you selected. For example, if you choose monthly deliveries and place your first subscription order on the 8th, your recurring orders will be processed on the 8th of each following month.

If your first order or recurring date is changed to fall at the end of the month, your date may shift to the last day of the month (for example, if your subscription falls on the 31st, but there are only 30 days in the month, you’ll be charged on the 30th that month and the 31st on eligible months).

Question 48

When will my order ship?

Accepted Answer

Orders are processed typically within 1-3 business days of receipt. Once processed, orders are shipped and delivered typically via USPS, although there are some scenarios where it may ship via a different carrier.

All orders are shipped from our warehouse in Southern California.

Question 49

Where do you ship to?

Accepted Answer

We ship to the United States and Canada at this point in time, with some potential exceptions.

For international orders (Canada), the customer is responsible for all import, duties and taxes imposed by their respective country. Once tracking shows that the product has arrived at customs, we are no longer responsible for the final arrival to your door. We do not accept returns.

Question 50

Where is your collagen sourced from?

Accepted Answer

Our collagen is sourced from cattle raised in Argentina, a region known for established grass-based cattle systems. Country of origin can influence how feeding practices are documented and verified, particularly when certification is involved.

Sourcing location alone does not determine outcomes. It primarily affects traceability, transparency, and the ability to confirm how cattle were raised.
